Lembas Organics have been growing organic vegetables near Aberdeen since 1980. First we were working for the Camphill Rudolf Steiner Schools in Milltimber near Aberdeen and after a short spell back in Holland we set ourselves up in Maryculter as an independent business growing organic vegetables for supermarkets. Over the years we switched to supplying local markets, notably all the Camphill communities around Aberdeen as well as to organic box schemes in the area, and we also operate a box scheme ourselves. In 1998 we moved to our present site at Bridge of Muchalls, near Stonehaven, where we have built our award winning low impact house as well as our purpose built business premises, chicken houses and polytunnels. We have tried hard over the years to build up a business offering the widest range of organic fruit and vegetables of good quality and for an affordable price with the best possible range of local produce.
