The apple that was trademarked to become the Pink Lady - a cross between a Golden Delicious and a Lady Williams. They are the same apple, but without the tight controls to meet their marketing specifications, and without the premium price either. It has a sweet-tart flavour with a firm, crisp bite. It is balanced in terms of its high sugar, high acid content with an effervescent finish, and with a beautiful bright pink skin.
