Also known as Cox's (Orange) Pippin, this classic English apple is often regarded as the finest dessert apple and is known for its complex flavours, rather than being just sweet as many apples are these days. This apple is a firm favourite at Halloween too, possibly due to the timing of the harvest period. These are a real treat for autumn.
