At its peak, a sweet, mild, and rich flavoured fruit. Its flavour is often described as like honey, but is also similar in taste to Devon Cream Custard. Its texture is similar to that of an apricot and its skin is a bit tougher than an appleās. The skin is edible, but you can also scoop the flesh out and eat as is. This should be left it until it is soft - it will look more jelly-like inside.
