Underneath the rough skin of the humble celeriac is a delicious flavour similar to celery (it's the root ball) and can even be eaten raw once peeled. Its creamy white flesh that’s really rather versatile. Try it in casseroles, baked dishes, grated in salad with apple, or in a lovely creamy soup.
