Beautifully tinged with purple, the January King is a winter vegetable, which is a cross between a savoy and a white cabbage. It is known as chou de Milan de Pontoise in France and has been cultivated in England since 1867. It's texture is crunchy and is slightly sweet to taste.
We've been enjoying really fresh organic fruit and veg from Bridgefoot for a few years now. It's direct from the farmers so we get to taste what is in season and even fruit and vegetables that you don't normally see at the supermarket.
