Granny Smith Apple and Gorgonzola Pizza

Ingredients

1 T oil
1 red onion, sliced
1 T balsamic vinegar
1 pizza base
1 cup gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
1 granny smith apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 175. Heat oil in a pan and add the onion. Saute over low heat until tender and caramelized, about 15-20 minutes. Add the balsamic vinegar and cook until it has evaporated. Arrange the onions, gorgonzola, apple and walnuts on the pizza base. Bake until golden brown.
